That's how I feel this morning...as do most of us at HQ! I'm sure many of you feel the same way working through the dog days of August.
Sen. McCain was FANTASTIC last night at Four Bridges Country Club. Each time I see him, I can sense his energy building. He was candid, funny, and downright charismatic last night. His self-deprecating style and good nature was a big hit with the crowd gathered there. Bob Rhein, a very good friend to our Party and all Republicans, was a magnificent host. The Senator's campaign has had two good weeks and this race is a dead-heat. We're going to win!
And...
We've had a long week in preparing for and screening candidates for the 28th House District Race. That process will continue next week. Our non-judicial nominating committee met this past week and heard from 3 fantastic candidates for the seat. Any one of the three would be outstanding. The process of selecting a candidate continues so as to give a few other great candidates a chance to be heard. We WILL have a candidate soon.
