Obama and Strickland - Approval Ratings Drop in Ohio

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT - Tuesday, a new Quinnipiac poll was released displaying lower approval ratings for Democratic leaders.

In just one month, President Obama's approval rating in Ohio slipped ten percentage points to 57%. The numbers fell the most among independent voters.

Governor Strickland's approval rating is currently the lowest it has been since he took office in 2006. His numbers slipped drastically from 63% to 56%.

Ohioans are losing faith in current leadership to improve the economic trends and the education system. Although the numbers are generally still high, the trend is downward. You can view the poll by clicking on the following link: http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x1322.xml?ReleaseID=1277
