Marc Dann

There is an old adage in politics that goes something like this: "when your opponent is getting beat-up, just stay out of the way..." (or words to that affect).

I'm doing that today. There are enough voices on this and to add mine would just be posturing at this point.

If he eventually resigns, who should our party run against their appointee?

Former prosecuting attorney and County Commissioner Phil Heimlich would be a good choice.

I think Jim Petro should come out of retirement and run. He did an outstanding job as AG and is an exceptional human being bereft of the stain of scandel.

Anyone but Betty Montgomery. She is an unethical, pro-abortion, anti-gun, Taft-and-spend liberal. I've never voted for Noe's girl and never will. She is so incompetent she actually lost to Marc Dann.

Let's go with someone who isn't tainted, and can actually serve competently. That would disqualify Montgomery on both fronts.

Jeff, I agree that Betty Montgomery shouldn't run but for different reasons than you have stated! Of course, the way it is looking now, Marc Dann, in full cahoots with Strickland will ride this pony out until September 24th and then Teddy can plug Celebreeze in. Watch it happen.
