NAACP

The NAACP will hold its 99th annual convention in Cincinnnati July 12-17. I am pleased to have been included on the Blue Ribbon Host Committee for this event.

The NAACP is the most venerable civil rights organization in the history of the United States. Their decision to come to Cincinnati is a credit to our city and region.

Senator McCain is expected to visit on July 16 to deliver remarks.

Too often, our party has not adequately spread our message to the African-American community. In unfortunately large percentages, the African-American community has supported the other party. Our message and the policies our party supports are best for America and best for every segment of our community. We need to do a better job of communicating this message.
